1The Problem
Noman was selling indoor and outdoor plants in the UAE mostly through Instagram DMs. Orders were getting lost in chat, customers kept asking the same care questions, and the few people he sent to his old store page were leaving without buying — the theme was slow on mobile, the plant photos were cropped badly, and checkout asked for far too much information for a simple AED 90 order.
2How I Solved It
I rebuilt the whole store around one idea: a plant should feel easy to buy. I restructured the catalogue into indoor, outdoor and gifting collections so a first-time visitor knows where to click within three seconds. Every product page got a full-bleed image, a short care summary (light, water, pet-safe) written in plain language, and a size guide, which removed most of the pre-sale questions he used to answer by hand. I compressed and re-cropped all product photography for mobile, cut the checkout down to the fields Shopify actually needs, and enabled one-tap payment options. Finally I added a wishlist and a simple loyalty prompt so returning customers had a reason to come back instead of starting over.
