1The Problem
Ali Abdullah runs an Islamic wall decor business in Dubai. His pieces are premium — framed Arabic calligraphy, family name art, acrylic panels — but there was no online home for them. Selling through social posts made it hard to show sizes, framing options and room context, and buyers in the UAE could not simply choose a size and pay. The brand needed a store that feels as considered as the artwork itself.
2How I Solved It
I am building the store around calm, gallery-like presentation. The brand direction uses warm neutrals with gold and deep black so the calligraphy stays the hero on every screen. Collections are split the way customers actually shop — calligraphy, family name art, acrylic and gifting — and each product page shows the piece in a real room, with a clear size guide, framing details and material notes so nobody has to ask before buying. Pricing is set in AED with UAE shipping and delivery times shown before checkout, and the build is mobile-first because most of the traffic arrives from Instagram on a phone. The store is still in development, so I am refining product photography, collection structure and the checkout flow before launch.
